Christmas fruit salad with honey and lemon syrup

This winter the fruit salad can be the best for your festive table, because it is colorful and fresh. It contains plenty of vitamins and antioxidants that make you younger, stronger, more cheerful and beautiful. This is kids’ favorite dish. To my mind, this salad shall be cooked in each family on holidays. There are two solutions regarding the filling for the salad: one may use yogurt or sour cream.

My mum cooked this salad with yogurt and it was great! It is both caloric and tasty. Try once, you will always cook it. It is impressively simple and quick in cooking. I think that everyone would prefer to eat something fresh in winter. And this salad would be a perfect choice.

Mix the lemon juice and sugar in a bowl until sugar melts. Mix well the olive and sunflower oil and honey. Fry the poppy seeds on a low heat and cool it for 5 minutes. Then add the seeds to the honey mixture.

In a salad bowl mix all the ingredients. Pour the sauce on the top of the fruit and mix it carefully. Tastes best if served immediately.
