Delicious meatballs in puff pastry

Hi, if you at least once would try to cook by this recipe, it will become one of more favourites in yor family. First of all, it’s very tasty. Second, the design comes out very beautiful and original. Traditionally meatballs serves with mashed potatoes or buckwheat. But there are alternative ways of preparing that meat dish.

One of them – meatballs with minced meat in puff pastry. Outside these meatballs remindes funny cakes and their taste will surprise even experienced chef. They go out very juicy and fragrant and if in addition you serve original sauce, then you will find a true gastronomic discovery. By the way, the cooking will take around 40 minutes.

Preheat the oven. Cover a pan with a parchment paper.With hands or rolling pin, roll each piece of dough to a circle with a diameter of 3 inches.In the center you put : Marinara sauce, meat balls and a teaspoon of grated cheese.

Wrap the dough around the meatballs and put on a pan with a seam down.

In a bowl, whisk the melted butter with garlic and Italian spices, then evenly put the mixture on each ball and put in preheated oven for  18-20 minutes.

  • 1 packet of ready puff pastry
  • 8 meat meatballs
  • 1 cup of Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of grated cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 teeth of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian spices, a pinch of salt
