Appetizer of pita bread become popular because its quick and easy to cook. Especially this snacks actual when guests come to you unexpected and you don’t have any time to cook special dish. You could ask : «Why do I need to cook it if I can go to the store and buy it?».
I can assure you that will see the difference. This taste quite different from the taste of Pita Bread from store. I have not see simply Homemade Pita Bread recipe before. We need only 5 ingredients and cooking time will takes less than 30 minutes. So get acquainted with the recipe, and you will see the difference.
Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl, then add butter and rub with hands in crumbs, pour water gradually and knead the dough.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes elastic. Cover with towel and leave for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 10 equal. Roll each piece into a circle with a diameter of 7.8 inches. Gently flatten each piece into a disk (I like very thin).
Heat a large pan over medium heat. Place the rolled-out pitas directly on the pan, and bake for about 10 – 60 seconds till light brown vesicles.

- 3. ½ teaspoon salt
- 4. 1 table spoon butter
- 5. ¾ cup warm water (not hot or boiling)
